Our Ocean Wave Blanket is a sculptural hand-felted photography prop inspired by the movement, colours and ever-changing surface of the sea.

Layers of soft white, seafoam, aqua, turquoise and ocean blue flow across the wool surface, while irregular raised textures create the impression of rolling waves, ripples and delicate sea foam.

Unlike a printed ocean backdrop, the effect is created entirely through hand-shaped felted wool, giving the blanket real dimension and organic texture that can be styled differently from one photographic scene to another.

Each Ocean Wave is individually handmade, so no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

Every Ocean Wave Blanket is individually hand felted from wool and made to order.

Its characteristic ocean effect is created through carefully layered colours and hand-shaped dimensional textures rather than a printed or digitally reproduced pattern.

Soft seafoam and pale aqua transition into turquoise and deeper ocean blues, while the irregular surface creates natural highlights, shadows and movement when photographed.

Because every blanket is made entirely by hand, variations in wave formation, colour placement and transitions are expected and are part of the character of this artistic piece.
