Hand-Felted Botanical Posing Leaves for Newborn & Sitter Photography

Inspired by water lilies floating quietly across the surface of a pond, our Water Lily Leaves Collection brings an organic, storybook character to newborn and sitter photography.

Each leaf is entirely handcrafted from wool and individually shaped, felted and colored to create the irregular form and intricate botanical character of a natural lily pad. Layers of green, olive and earthy tones blend across the surface, while hand-created veining adds depth and makes every leaf visually unique.

Rather than a flat decorative layer, each leaf has its own sculptural character. Natural irregularities along the edges, dimensional wool fibers and subtle variations in shape allow the leaves to photograph beautifully from above as well as from lower shooting angles.

Use a single leaf as a botanical posing layer or combine several sizes to create the impression of water lilies floating across an enchanted pond.

The placement of the veins, tonal transitions, fiber structure, contours and subtle irregularities develop naturally during the felting process. We preserve the distinctive character of the design, but no two leaves will ever be completely identical.

These variations are not imperfections - they are an integral part of handmade felt work and make every leaf genuinely one of a kind.
